The General Conference of the United Methodist Church granted The Center a budget of $100,000 per annum for this quadrennium (2008-2012)received status as an Advance Special from the General Church.  This status gives us privilege to seek support from every local church.

The Heritage Center is a project of The Advance. One way to contribute to the Heritage Center is through The Advance. Make checks payable to “ADVANCE GCFA,” and write “African American Methodist Heritage Center, Code #3020514? in the memo portion of your check.

Through this channel of giving, your church and annual conference receive Advance credit.
